We need volunteers to join our wonderful team who craft and bake lovely items for us to sell to raise funds in our charity shop and at events. We have branded this activity as “Handmade by Hope” and our volunteers have even been featured in a national craft magazine!

Crafting

Our volunteers knit, sew, crochet, bead and make cards. Examples of their work include knitted dog coats and blankets, dog bandanas, dog collars, knitted toys, bags and jewellery. Patterns can be provided and regular craft nights are organised for volunteers to meet up and share ideas.

                                      

          

Baking

We sell our own range of homemade “Doggy Deli” treats at our events. Volunteers need to follow specific recipes which are provided. We also sell homemade cakes at certain events and volunteers are needed to bake.
