Hope Rescue has busy charity shops in Merthyr Tydfil, Pontyclun and Pontypridd

Our shops raise important funds for the dogs in our care, and are at the heart of our local communities.

Each shop has a bustling team of volunteers who carry out a variety of roles, and we're looking for more volunteers to join the team.

What roles are available in the charity shops?

Serving and helping customers is the most recognisable part of volunteering in our shops, but there is a huge amount of work that goes on behind the scenes too. 

Whether you like being front of house or prefer working behind the scenes, here are a list of options for volunteering in our charity shops. Full training and support is available for all roles.

• Serving customers and operating the till
• Sorting incoming donations and preparing items for sale
• Tagging and labelling goods for sale
• Helping with window displays and organising stock in the shop
• Supporting our eBay shop and preparing items for mailing out
