How to check if we have your dog

If you want to check if we have your dog at our centre, you can contact us directly on 01443 226659.

We also post details of all stray dogs that are brought into us on our Facebook page.

If we have your dog, you will need to provide proof of ownership and there will be a charge payable on collection.

How to reclaim your dog

Your dog will only be returned to you if you:

- can provide proof of ownership eg microchip registration form, photographic evidence, vet records etc.

- pay the appropriate kennel charge - see link to kennel fees below.

Any dogs not reclaimed after 7 days will move into the ownership and care of Hope Rescue and we will seek to rehome them.

Opening hours

Our kennels are open Monday - Friday: 9.00am to 5pm

Arrangements can be made for collection of dogs outside of the above normal working hours by calling 01443 226659

(Please note: additional charges may apply if the dog requires vaccination or any vet treatment)

Microchips

All dogs that are found will be checked for a microchip. If the dog is not micro-chipped, an additional cost will be added to cover the cost of micro-chipping, which is now a legal requirement for all dogs.
