We are seeking the real 'people people' who are happy to stand out in the wind, rain and sun, meeting the public and raising funds for the dogs in our care.

Sound like you? Then read on!

Bucket collections provide vital funds for our work wth vulnerable dogs, and are carried out across south Wales in the communities where we operate.

What activities will I be involved in?

Standing at the entrance/exit of a supermarket, sporting venue or public event, or on a public street with a collecting tin or bucket, and collecting money for Hope Rescue dogs. Access to a vehicle or good public transport links would be helpful to get to and from the collections.

You will need to have the ability to represent Hope Rescue appropriately and enthusiastically to members of the public to help raise as much money as possible during authorised collections and to raise awareness of our work.

This is a really flexible role and you can volunteer as much or as little time as you can – you could spend an hour just doing one collection or take part in collections more regularly.

Authorised collections can take place any day of the week, usually between 8am and 8pm.

Collections take place across South Wales. Some of the benefits include meeting and working with new people getting to know your local community showing your support for Hope Rescue making a difference to your local community.

We’ll provide essential kit such as a t-shirt, but you will need to dress appropriately for the conditions and the task. We’ll reimburse agreed out‐of‐pocket expenses, such as bus fares, in accordance with our expenses policy.
