Hope Rescue volunteers are at the heart of our work, bringing skills, enthusiasm, and boundless care to help make a lasting difference for vulnerable dogs.

Volunteers Week runs from 3rd to 9th of June, and is celebrating its 40th year. This is a wonderful opportunity to say thank you to our volunteers and showcase the many roles that they carry out every day.

Volunteer roles at Hope Rescue

Whether providing a temporary loving home for our dogs through fostering, greeting customers in our charity shops, transporting dogs to appointments and goods between shops, or supporting our fundraising events around south Wales, volunteers are involved at every step of our operations.

Volunteers also guide our charity as trustees, providing support and insight from a range of professions to ensure our strategic plan is clear and achievable.

Making an impact

During this week of celebration, we’ll share stories of how our volunteers make a positive impact and provide insight into how the different roles help the dogs in our care.
