The BBC Wales Investigates undercover expose of conditions inside licensed puppy farms in Wales was truly shocking and has been instrumental in getting Welsh Government to commit to reviewing the current Welsh breeding regulations.

The programme featured Olwyn, a beautiful little Cavalier girl. She was rescued by our good friends at Puppy Love Campaigns before coming straight to us with a dead puppy stuck inside her. Fortunately we were able to save her life and she went on to find a loving home.

Olwyn came from a notorious puppy farm called Penwern in Llandysul owned by David and Eleri Jones. We were delighted when their breeding licence renewal was refused by Ceredigion County Council on December 10th last year.

Unfortunately, they have lodged an appeal with magistrates at Aberystwyth Justice Centre. The case will be heard on May 18th. We'll be organising a protest with Puppy Love Campaigns outside the court so please save the date and watch this space for more details.

Olwyn deserves justice. Can we count on your support?
