We struggle to imagine any dog enduring the confusion and loneliness they must feel as a stray dog. Not knowing where they are or who to trust must be so frightening, especially if you’re an older dog experiencing the symptoms of ageing. Sadly, this seems to be happening to more and more dogs right now. Cooper being one of those dogs!

No one came forward to claim Cooper after he recently came into our care, so he’s been moved into one of our loving foster homes where he’s been enjoying some home comforts…as you can see.

At 10-years-old, this older gent has begun to show some signs of aging including some grey spots on his face, but this golden oldie is still very young at heart. We don’t know why Cooper became a stray or what life was like for him before but we do know he’ll make an amazing dog for the right family when he’s ready to be rehomed.

Before that time, Cooper will require dental treatment as a lot of his teeth have tartar on them, which can lead to further problems in older age. This gent has been through enough already so if you can help us with the cost of his treatment and ongoing care we’d really appreciate it.
