Hope Rescue relies heavily on public generosity and in return, the public places trust in us to raise money in a considerate and responsible way, and to use it effectively.

Fundraising activity is driven by staff and volunteers, and to sustain the charity’s activities we endeavour to achieve a balanced range of fundraising activities.

These activities include raising funds primarily from members of the public (through our charity and online shop, events, and individual giving campaigns), through partnerships with organisations and groups, and grant giving trusts.

Hope Rescue is regulated by the Charity Commission (for England and Wales) and The Fundraising Regulator and is required to follow the law and recognised standards, protecting the charity from undue risk, and showing respect for donors, supporters and the public.

At all times, we strive to:

  • Comply with fundraising law
  • Follow recognised standards
  • Be open and accountable
  • Protect Hope Rescue’s reputation and other assets
  • Supervise our fundraisers
  • Plan and monitor fundraising finance
