Our new Education and Training Manager, Daniella Gouveia, introduces the vision for future learning opportunities at Hope Rescue over the coming months.

I'm thrilled to be taking on the role as the new Education and Training Manager at Hope Rescue. I'm truly passionate about our values and mission, and I can't wait to dive into the world of animal welfare, education, and training with all of you.

Thanks to grant funding, together, we're going to make a real difference for the dogs in our care and in the wider community.

Our aim is to enhance the resources and support within our rescue centre, ensuring that our team is equipped with everything they need to provide exceptional care for every dog that comes through our gates.

But our vision doesn't stop there. I'm committed to empowering our entire community – each and every one of you – with the knowledge and skills to build the best possible relationship with the dogs in your lives.

Our connection with dogs

Having spent a decade immersed in the animal welfare charity sector, advocating for dogs and supporting their human companions, I stand alongside you all.

Caring for a dog is a journey filled with moments of joy and love, but it also comes with its challenges. From the early days of training to the tough decisions that come with caring for an ageing companion, it's a journey of sacrifice, resilience, and unwavering commitment.

But through it all, there are moments of deep connection. The bond between a dog and their human family is something truly special, built on trust, devotion, and understanding. We want to be here for you, every step of the way.

Get involved

But we can't do it alone. Your ideas, energy, and involvement are crucial to our success. Whether you have suggestions for training topics, want to contribute your time and expertise, or simply want to join our sessions, your engagement is invaluable.
