A young male staffy cross and a female lurcher were abandoned in the garden of a dog walker this morning, Friday 28th June.

We are very grateful to the dog walker for keeping them safe and for bringing them to us. As you can see, both are in appalling condition.

Poor condition

They have a body score of just 1 out of 9, are crawling with live fleas, and have open sores on their body.

We have named the male staffie cross Bam Bam and the female lurcher Pebbles.

Bam Bam currently weighs just 10.9kg and Pebbles is only 9.9kg.

From their teeth we would estimate they are young adults. Both are weak but appear extremely sweet and have a close bond.

Appeal for information

We are appealing for any information regarding how they came to be in such condition. You can call us on 01443 226659 or message us via Facebook.
