Named after a sweet little Bull-Lurcher who arrived in our care at just 4-weeks-old. 

Daffodil was diagnosed with a very rare medical condition by a local vet. Her owners had taken her in after noticing symptoms that were very concerning. Her condition needed addressing as soon as possible due to the risk of ongoing pain and infections. 

We all wanted the best for this little girl so we involved a specialist vet as soon as we could. Sadly, her very tiny body wasn’t able to cope with her condition, and we had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to her. She left a huge paw print on so many hearts at the rescue centre and with our many supporters, so naming one of our Home from Home Kennels after this little flower felt like a fitting tribute.

The current residents in Daffodil's Suite is Fluffy, a 7-year-old Mastiff X. He is a big boy at 62kg but is a softy at heart. Fluffy has been waiting for a little while to find his forever family. We hope he won't be waiting too much longer.
