Spike absolutely thrives when he has a job to do. While he enjoys a game of fetch, he'll need much more than endless ball throwing to keep him happy. He would love a home that can introduce him to activities such as scent work, tracking, Treibball, agility or other reward-based training that allows him to channel his enthusiasm and natural instincts in a positive way.

When he's not busy learning, Spike loves getting out and exploring. Whether it's woodland walks, countryside adventures or long hikes, he'll happily join you as your loyal adventure companion. He can be a little unsure of other dogs, and will benefit from quieter walking routes away from busy off-lead areas where he can relax, enjoy his surroundings and investigate all the interesting scents at his own pace. With careful introductions and plenty of space, he could enjoy having a few suitable walking companions.

Spike is looking to be the only pet in his new home, where he can enjoy all the attention for himself. He could live with sensible teenagers aged 14 and over who can understand and respect his energetic play style and give him space when he needs it.
