Roly is a lovely little lad who found his way into our care as a stray. Unsure of his new surroundings, he was understandably a little shy at first and took some time to trust the team. Thankfully, it didn't take long for gentle encouragement, plenty of patience, and a few irresistible pieces of cheese to help him realise he was among friends!

The perfect home

Since then, Roly has blossomed in his foster home and is thoroughly enjoying all the comforts of home life. His favourite place? Curled up on the sofa for a cuddle with his foster family after a nice walk and explore around the countryside, he may have little legs but he loves to be out exploring.

When out and about, Roly can initially be vocal when he spots other dogs. However, with calm, slow introductions, he settles well and is happy to walk alongside another dog, enjoying sniffing around together, Roly could potentially share his forever home with another dog.

Roly forms strong bonds with the people he loves and enjoys being close to them. Because of this, he'll need owners who can gradually build up the time he spends on his own, helping him feel safe and confident when left.

As he can be a little unsure around new people, Roly would be happiest in a home with older children who can understand when he needs a little extra space or some quiet time while he gets to know them.
