Losing someone you love is incredibly difficult. Leaving a gift in memory of a friend, loved one or pet is a wonderful way of remembering and celebrating their life.
Deciding to leave a gift in this way, will help to continue to grow and live on through the work we do, here at Hope Rescue. It is a beautiful way to honour their lives and their love of animals.
Asking friends and family to make a donation to Hope Rescue in lieu of flowers is a wonderful way to remember a loved one and to celebrate their life as an animal lover. It can be comforting to know that each donation given in their memory helps to ensure that every dog that finds themselves at Hope Rescue gets the love and care they deserve before finding their forever home.
It is with great sadness that we write that we have lost one of our Hope Rescue family members. Pamela was a long term supporter, fosterer and adopter and all round dog lover who will be greatly missed by us all. In particular we will miss her funny meme's and photos on our internal Workplace communications and we will miss her involvement in our online fundraising events.
Our love and thoughts go to Jeff, Bethany (Hope Rescue dog) and the entire family at this time.
She was the most beautiful Springer Spaniel with the best nature

Debra lovingly known as Deb, by her family and friends was a devoted sister to Janet and cherished Aunty to Yana, Tobias and Eden-Fay. Our lovely Deb, will be remembered as a patient, warm-hearted, kind and selfless lady with an avid love for her dogs. Over the years, Deb enjoyed spending many hours in all weathers, walking her beloved dogs at the local Boating Lake. Even in her later years as her health declined and she couldn’t manage walking far, Deb would still take her dog Jake out and sit

Gwynne was a loving husband, dad and Dado. He had a huge love for animals all his life but in particular dogs. He had 3 dogs in his lifetime Found, Sheba and Fanny but loved all dogs and being around dogs always put a huge smile on his face. He would be truly humbled to have raised this amount of money in his memory in lieu of flowers at his funeral. In total we have raised a huge £600 for Hope rescue and would like to give thanks to everyone who donated as he would be so proud.

Jean was a wonderful mum and nan and loved animals all her life, giving homes to many pets throughout her life. She would be very happy to think that she could help other animals by donations made in her memory rather than flowers.

Pauline Sprunks was a kind, generous and loving person. One of her biggest loves in her life was dogs and she always supported animal charities. Hope Rescue gave her her beloved Burley who was her true and loving companion for many years and her support through the good times and bad. Until her last day she never forgot Burley. Pauline will be so happy that donations are to be given to the charity that gave he so much joy and love in her life.
