Christmas at Hope Cosy Christmas Help us provide a Cosy Christmas for the dogs in our care Our Cosy Christmas Appeal aims to give all our rescue dogs a wonderful time this Christmas. With your help we can make the festive period as special as possible for the dogs in our care because every dog deserves Christmas. A special gift of £10 will help us provide a Cosy Christmas for the dogs in our care. Over the past year, our kennels have been constantly at capacity. In fact, we are over capacity as we are having to rent overflow kennel space to ensure no dog is left behind in the pounds we support. The huge number of dogs purchased during the pandemic closely followed by the cost-of-living crisis continues to put a heavy burden on our over-stretched resources. Right now, your support will ensure that the dogs in our care can share in the festive spirit and have some extra treats to enjoy. Over the longer term, you will be helping to give Hope dogs the training, welfare, and veterinary support that they need to progress being adopted. They will also be neutered, wormed, flea-treated and vaccinated prior to adoption. Your support this Christmas will help in the following ways: · All the welfare and rehoming support the dogs in our care could possibly need. You will be helping to cover the cost of medical, rehabilitation and training for our rescue dogs so that they will be ready for their new families in 2024. · Keeping our lighting, heating, and other essential appliances, such as our washers and dryers, running in this chilly festive period. Our energy bills have risen at a shocking rate, as the cost of living continues to hit us all. Keeping our rescue centre fueled this winter will help our team to support Hope dogs to move on to their new forever homes. · Christmas treats and a scrummy dinner. Help us to provide Christmas stockings stuffed with treats and toys, for all our rescue dogs, both in our Rescue Centre and in our network of foster homes. After all, they all deserve it! · Cosy kennels, new beds, bedding, and toys help us to provide warm and comfy beds made cosy with fresh blankets and vet bedding to provide a warm nights’ sleep whilst they dream of SantaPaws.
