We have an exciting opportunity for two Welfare and Adoption Officers to join the team at our rescue centre in Llanharan, South Wales.

The post holders will be responsible for the running the Out of Hours stray dog service on a rota basis, supervising and mentoring the Animal Welfare Assistants and assisting with all aspects of adoption. This will include assessments, designing and implementing training and behaviour modification programmes and providing support to our foster homes and to adopters. 

The ideal candidates will have experience of working in a kennel environment and of handling rescue dogs, along with an in-depth knowledge of dog behaviour, training and welfare.

Salary: £20,000 per annum

Standard hours at the rescue centre are 40 hours per week.
