The Hope Rescue Board leads and governs the charity, ensuring that we operate in accordance with the required legislation. To complement the current strength of our Board, and as part of our succession planning, we are looking for engaging and dynamic professionals to join our charity, to lead us through the next phase of our development.

As a Trustee of Hope Rescue you will have the chance to help shape the strategic direction of a small and well-respected charity and not only ensure it continues to help dogs in need, but also that it maintains high standards of governance. This is a great opportunity to gain Board Level experience whilst making a difference to dogs in need in the South Wales area.

We are specifically seeking individuals with experience in finance, HR, fundraising, and as a Company Secretary. Ideally you will be based in the South Wales area.

These are voluntary, part-time roles that can be carried out alongside full-time employment; all our current Trustees have full-time roles elsewhere. You will naturally need to have a love of dogs and care passionately about their welfare.

All of our Trustees are also Directors, so you would appear on the registers held by both the Charity Commission and Companies House.

If you would like further information or to have an informal chat about any of these roles, please email Dr. Corinne Scott (Trustee - Volunteer Management): [email protected]
