The ‘firebreak’ lockdown in Wales ends on Monday, 9th November and we will be able to re-open our rescue centre again, subject to a number of restrictions.

All visitors to our rescue centre must wear a face covering if they are coming into the reception area. We ask that everyone uses the hand sanitiser provided and adheres to social distancing requirements.

Please continue to use the online application form. If we can progress your application further, we will conduct an initial chat and video home check. Adoption meets will then be organised, strictly by appointment, at the rescue centre.

Due to the current travel restrictions in place, we are only able to rehome dogs within Wales while the lockdown in England is in place.

Demand for our rescue dogs remains at an all-time high and we would appreciate your understanding and patience.

We can once again start taking in routine surrenders from owners.

Although we can welcome back some of our existing volunteers, we are unable to accept any new volunteers at our rescue centre. However, our charity shop will be looking for new volunteers shortly, so please look out for further updates.

Donated items

We can now accept kind donations of bedding, unopened food, toys and treats. Unfortunately, we cannot take duvets, pillows, cushions and sheets. There is a large red bin outside the reception building at our rescue centre.

This year, instead of doing our usual Shoebox appeal due to lack of space to quarantine and store all the donations, we will be asking for virtual shoeboxes instead. You can purchase these in our shop

You will be able to drop off raffle and auction donations but please bring them in to reception (wearing a face covering).

We are not currently accepting charity shop donations due to the volume of stock we have already.

Rescue centre shop

The rescue centre shop will be re-opening and you can buy a selection of toys, treats, leads, collars, harnesses, beds and our very popular snuffle mats! We will also be stocking our 2021 calendar shortly.

Thank you all so much for your continued support.
