After many months of closure due to devastating damage caused by Storm Dennis and the pandemic delaying necessary repairs, our charity shop in Pontypridd has finally opened its doors again.

Early this year, Storm Dennis wreaked havoc across South Wales and the River Taff burst its banks, flooding the town centre in Pontypridd. Our shop was very badly damaged and needed extensive renovation.

The impact of Coronavirus meant that the work was delayed, and it’s taken many months to get our shop up and running again. It is now been completely refurbished, and our dedicated team of staff and volunteers are looking forward to welcoming back shoppers in a safe environment.

Due to ongoing restrictions, there have been some important changes to keep our shoppers and shop team safe. We are no longer running a café and have changed our opening times.

We are now open Tuesday to Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm, closed on Sunday and Monday.

Donations can only be accepted on Mondays and Fridays from 10am. Due to quarantine guidelines, we cannot accept donations on any other days and request that you contact the shop team in advance to make sure we have the capacity to accept your donations.

We are limited to the number of people we can have in store at any one time and ask that everyone is patient and respectful. Face coverings are required, unless you are exempt, and hand sanitiser is available.
