Hi I’m Holly

Hi, my name is Holly and I’m nearly 6 years old. I’m a very sweet girl, surrendered into Hope Rescue’s care about 8 months ago. I’m currently living with my lovely foster carers where I’ve been learning all about life in a home. I was previously housed outdoors you see.

I’m getting to grips with house training and although I still have the occasional accident I am learning. I’m also learning to walk on a lead, which is much better but I can get easily spooked so it’s best to walk me in quiet areas away from roads.

Due to my past, I do rely on the company of other dogs for confidence so I’m looking for a home with at least one other dog. I could also live with a confident cat.

I’m not used to travelling in a car and I’m still figuring out stairs but I’m getting there, with slow improvements every day.

My foster carers has said that since I moved in with them my playful side has come out, particularly with my other dog pals I live with. My style of play is quite boisterous so I would need to live with a dog with a similar style of play. I can also be left alone for a few hours too.

Will you adopt me?
