Hi, I’m Bear

I first came to Hope Rescue as a stray and no one came to collect me, so as sad as that is, I am now ready for my forever home.

I’m a wonderful boy with a big character. I’ll make a lovely addition to a home who have an eagerness to continue my training needs. I can be a little anxious in some situations, which can cause me to jump up and mouth arms and clothing, but with a little reassurance I will settle down.

I do find going to the vet a little overwhelming (who doesn’t right?), so I’ll need to be given time for this to be worked on.

I would thrive with owners who use positive based reward training methods to help me continue to develop. Treats work for me 😉

I get on well with other dogs and enjoy racing around the Hope Rescue’s ‘off-lead’ areas, for some rough and tumble play. I could live with another dog but we’d need to be matched through introductions at the centre in Llanharan.

Hope Rescue are currently looking for adult only homes for me, where owners are around during the day, and I can gradually build up to being left alone.

I’d love to meet you if you think your home could become mine. You can apply for me below. Also, here I am enjoying a puppuccino recently. It was delicious!
