Signs of Spring are all around us here at Hope Rescue - the blue skies and daffodils are filling us all with joy and hope and we are feeling optimistic about the seasons ahead! With this in mind our attention has turned to our outside spaces at the centre and there are quite a few jobs that need doing after the winter months. Last year presented lots of challenges which meant our development plans needed to go hold but that’s about to change!

Thanks to a generous grant we are in a position to go ahead with completing the last job for the sensory garden, namely the fencing. The fencing contractors have given us a good price and we would love to create an additional off-lead area in a green space next to the garden.

In addition to fencing the area we would really like to install a dog training platform and bench in the paddock. This platform will provide training and enrichment opportunities for our dogs, which will really help to prepare them for their new life as well as keeping them fit and healthy. What’s even better is that both the platform and bench are built out of recycled plastic which is hard wearing, durable (it will need to be) and weatherproof which means we can use it come rain or shine. This has been on our list for a long time. We really would love for you to make this dream a reality this spring.

Could you help us to complete this job? We’ve already got some funds we are committing to the project but in order to make this happen we still need to raise an additional £3,500.
