Since 2005, we’ve helped to improve the lives of over 8,000 of the most vulnerable dogs in our local communities. We now face unprecedented challenges but despite our financial difficulties, we've remained open so we can continue to help dogs in need. But we couldn't have done it without your help.

This Giving Tuesday we’re asking our supporters to help us keep our doors open. We’ve lost all the income from our charity shop, rescue centre shop, boarding business, grooming, paddocks and fundraising events. Our dogs need your help now more than ever.

It's a major struggle as we continue to lose £1,000 of income every single day but your generosity has ensured we can still help at a time our services have never been needed more.

This is also an opportunity for us to say a heartfelt "Thank You" for your support.

Your support really can make a difference

At Hope Rescue we commit to caring for every unclaimed stray from six local councils. This inevitably means we see a lot of elderly and poorly dogs. Many of these dogs are simply too frail for invasive surgery or have life-limiting conditions. They still have a really good quality of life so we care for them as part of our palliative foster scheme. This provides them with a home-from-home with one of our amazing foster carers where they can enjoy a comfy sofa and all their vet bills are covered by us.

Tommy is one of our palliative care foster dogs. He's a senior lad who came in as a stray with a host of health problems, including needing removal of a large testicular mass, as well as heart and kidney issues. He's still an active boy and loves nothing more than going on little adventures with his foster carers. We're so proud of our wonderful palliative foster care team for giving dogs like Tommy the end of life care they so deserve.

It is incredibly important that we continue to keep our doors open for our palliative care dogs - they deserve their happy ever after no matter how limited their time with us may be. They deserve to pass knowing they were loved until the very end. Could you please consider a donation to help keep our doors open for palliative care dogs like Tommy?
