We have had to make some difficult but important decisions for the safety of our team and to make sure that we can continue to look after the dogs in our care at the rescue centre.

Due to a couple of staff members and volunteers having recent positive Covid tests and some other staff self-isolating, sadly we have had to make some operational changes at the rescue centre and in fundraising.

For now these are the changes in place:

  • Reception is closed to anyone except essential visitors. Essential visitors include adopters and adoptions will still be going ahead.
  • If you are kindly dropping off a shoebox for our Christmas appeal, we would be grateful if you could leave it in the red donation bin outside Reception. Please leave a note though in the box with your contact details so we can say thank you.
  • Volunteering is suspended until further notice

Please bear with us over the coming couple of weeks as we are very short-staffed.

This comes at the busiest time of the year and the busiest time in our history but our priorities have to be the safety of our team and to be able to support the dogs in our care. There are still plenty of ways to show your festive support. There are some festive ideas here including our Festive Pawble, Christmas Raffle and our Shoebox Appeal.

You can still visit our shop in Pontypridd as well as our online shop and Ebay store or you can make a regular or one off donation below.

We would like to say a huge thanks to our volunteers and supporter for your co-operation. Hopefully we will be back to normal as soon as possible.
