Fundraising Stories

Welcome to Hope's Fundraising Blog 2022! We are excited to start the new year and look forward to sharing some inspiring fundraising stories here on our blog. We rely on the passion and support from our local communities to help Hope Rescue continue to save the lives of dogs in need across South Wales.

We were thrilled to finally get out and about again last summer and really hope that continues in 2022. Although we realise that face -to-face events and fundraising isn’t as it was before the pandemic hit, our aim is to give you a variety of ways to support the dogs in our care over the coming  year.

There are some exciting fundraising adventures lined up already, with 25 people taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon in March, Carl’s Big Welsh Adventure (which involves walking the entire Welsh Coastal Path), and we have been chosen as charity of the year for Rockwool in Bridgend and Redberth Gardens in West Wales. We look forward to sharing so much more throughout the year.

Please read more to find out about our other fundraising success stories. We will be uploading a new fundraising story on a regular basis, so do make sure you check it out.
