Hope Rescue Stall at The Big Cheese Festival Caerphilly Castle Grounds, Caerphilly Set in the shadows of one of Europe's largest Castles the town of Caerphilly comes to life as people of all ages come to The Big Cheese, an extravaganza of street entertainers, living history encampments, music, dance, traditional funfair, folk dancing, falconry, fire eating, minstrels, troubadours and much more.

The Big Cheese is a 'must see' attraction for all visitors. Portraying the history, heritage and culture of Caerphilly, the 2007 event attracted over 70,000 people. Families from all over the country flocked to Caerphilly to experience this fun filled programme of activities and entertainment.

The Big Cheese weekend is a FREE event and over 80,000 people are expected in 2008, just click on the link to find out more

Hope Rescue Stall at Bedwellty Agricultural Show Blackwood Showfields, Blackwood

The Bedwellty Agricultural Show has been taking place for over 100 years and this year it will take place the day before the Big Balloon Festival. Renowned for it’s spectacular agricultural displays this year’s show is set to be bigger and better than ever! The Show is a FREE event, organised and managed by the Bedwellty Agricultural Society, so why not come along and join in with the 10,000 people that we are expecting this year.

Hope Rescue Stall at The Big Balloon Festival Blackwood Showfields, Blackwood The Big Balloon is the finale to Caerphilly county borough council's exciting summer events programme where balloons of all shapes, sizes and colours gather at the Blackwood Showfields. The festival has something to offer all the family, including spectacular mass balloon launches, colourful performances from a variety of street entertainers, live music and white knuckle rides on the funfair. The highlight of the weekend is the nightglow and fireworks display, which takes place on the Sunday evening and attracts thousands of people.

The Big Balloon Festival is a FREE event, so why not come along and join in with the 35,000 people that we are expecting this year.
