Look Who's Had Visitors!

Yes, we have some great news to share. The lovely Fudge, who appeared on Animal Rescue Live this week, had a visit from potential adopters Ryan and Alice. This is brilliant news and subject to a successful home check, we can confirm that Fudge has now found her forever home.

Ryan and Alice from Cardiff saw Fudge on #AnimalRescueLive and applied straight away. It’s the perfect match and we are so happy for them all.

Don’t forget to tune in tonight for the final show – Channel 4 at 8pm.

Fudge Takes Centre Stage

One of our lovely Cocker Spaniel mums tastes the limelight as she appears on Channel 4’s Animal Rescue Live this evening, Tuesday 8th August.

Sat alongside none other than the Supervet himself, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick, she features on the show that aims to draw attention to the benefits of adopting a rescue pet.

Adoption Process and Public Opening Times at our Rescue Centre

We have now been in our rescue centre in Llanharan for four months and it has certainly been a steep learning curve for us all. After some teething issues we have reviewed our adoption process and public opening times. Taking into account visitor, staff and volunteer feedback we have some concerns that we are not offering our visitors and potential adopters the best customer experience possible. We also have some concerns about the welfare impact of an "open house" viewing policy on our lovely rescue dogs.

Paws for Tea

We have been lucky to receive a good review from local blog 'Welsh Cakes and Wellies' – you can read what they said about the café and store here.

Our charity shop in Pontypridd is doing really well and is now benefiting from our very own in-store dog friendly cafe.

Puppy Newspaper Appeal

Our Cocker Spaniel puppies are growing bigger every day, moving around and eating lots. The inevitable result of this means that we need donations of old newspapers to line the kennel floors. This not only helps us to keep them all clean, but is a hygienic way of picking up the poop!

If you can help, you can drop the newspapers off at our centre in Llanharan, South Wales from 12 pm to 4 pm every day except Wednesday.
