Products include...

Shoebox Appeal

We realise that not everyone can donate money to us, especially at this time of year, but you can help by supporting and sharing our shoebox appeal.

The idea is to fill a shoebox with goodies to give one of our rescue dogs a very merry Christmas. Your shoebox will be delivered by Santa Paws on Christmas morning.

We've had some lovely donations already and with your help, we can make sure that all the dogs in our care over Christmas enjoy a few special treats.

Hope Rescue Calendar

The Hope Rescue 2018 calendar is now available to buy. It includes stunning photographs of some of our rescue dogs and would make a lovely Christmas gift.

You can buy the calendar at our charity shop in Pontypridd, at our rescue centre in Llanharan or you can order online here.

Price £5 each or 3 for £12.50.

We need your votes - voting closes tomorrow at 12 pm!

Please vote for Hope Rescue to benefit from Aviva's Community Fund.

Our rescue dogs need you and we have less than 24 hours! We need to reach the Top 8 projects to win the chance to secure £25,000 funding from Aviva for a Sensory Garden and Home from Home room at our rescue centre. We are doing a final push before voting closes at 12 p.m. tomorrow. We need another 3,000 votes to take us to 10,000 - that is just 300 dog lovers casting their 10 votes each.

Stray Dogs in South Wales

From time to time we have to raise our concerns about the number of stray dogs being found that are not being reported to the dog warden, or are being kept initially then passed on again. The stray dog laws are in place for a reason - to ensure there is a robust legal process in place and to give the owners the very best chance of finding their lost dog. Not everyone is on social media to see a found dog post on a lost and found site. It is vital that stray dogs are checked for a microchip.
