In just one week we have been called to help a litter of 7 orphaned pups whose mother had very sadly died during a C-section and two pups with broken legs.
This week we have taken into our care two puppies with complex leg fractures: Sally, a 4 month old Yorkie cross puppy (top left) and Emma, a 4 month old Collie/Lurcher puppy (top right). Both were surrendered at our vets and are now with orthopaedic specialist vets Alphavets for surgery to repair their fractures.

We are recruiting a Manager for our first charity shop, in South Wales. This is a pivotal role in the delivery of our fundraising strategy, reporting direct to the Board of Trustees.
On behalf of the Hope Rescue dogs we wish all our supporters a very Merry Christmas. We have everything crossed for a quiet few days!
Hope Rescue will be celebrating #GivingTuesday, on 2nd December, a global day of giving something back. #GivingTuesday is a charitable alternative to Black Friday and Cyber Monday, a time for people to kick off the festive period with a day of giving and making a commitment to charity. We are aiming to raise £1,000 on the day and recruit new volunteers who want to make a difference.
Roly, a Hope Rescue Assisted Adoption dog, has been selected as a finalist in the Rescue Animal of the Year category. Roly was nominated because he survived an appalling start to his life, being born in the squalor of a puppy farm in West Wales - if it wasn’t for Hope Rescue, Roly’s life would have ended there before it had barely begun. Since then he has been living with a number of life-limiting conditions but despite everything, he embraces life with spirit and courage.
