It's Time For Urgent Action #shameonwales

Hopefully you've watched the BBC Wales Investigates programme featuring the heartbreaking story of our beautiful Olwyn, saved by our good friends at Puppy Love Campaigns before moving in to our care. If you are as angry as we are about the state of licensed puppy farms in Wales then please take action. Here's what you can do:

1. Sign our URGENT petition calling upon the National Assembly for Wales to urge the Welsh Government and Minister for Environment, Energy and Rural Affairs to undertake an URGENT review of The Animal Welfare (Breeding of Dogs) (Wales) Regulations 2014 together with an IMMEDIATE investment in enforcement of the current regulations. This will be presented to Lesley Griffiths by our friends Puppy Love Campaigns at a meeting with Lesley Griffiths on Friday 11th Oct so we need as many signatures as possible by then.

2. Attend the Puppy Love Campaigns peaceful protest outside Lesley Griffith's constituency office at Vernon House, 41 Rhosddu Road, Wrexham, LL11 2NS on Friday the 4th October at 10 a.m.

If you can't attend please write to her or email Lesley.Griffiths@assembly.wales

3. Write to your local Assembly Members with your views about the investigation and asking them to support an URGENT review of The Animal Welfare (Breeding of Dogs) (Wales) Regulations 2014 together with an IMMEDIATE investment in enforcement of the current regulations. Details of your local Members can be found here: http://senedd.assembly.wales/mgMemberIndex.aspx

4. Support our bid to stop a new puppy farm being opened in Blaenau Gwent. Please sign the petition here: http://bit.ly/StopBlaenauGwentPuppyFarm and/or attend our peaceful demonstration outside the Council offices prior to the planning meeting between 9 a.m. and 9.30 a.m. on Thursday 3rd October. Please arrive at least 15 minutes beforehand and also bring any suitable placards.

The address is: Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, Civic Centre, Ebbw Vale, Gwent, NP23 6XB

5. Make a regular donation towards our work both helping ex-puppy farm dogs and campaigning for legislative change:
