GOOD NEWS - THE OWNER HAS BEEN LOCATED.
We are appealing for information to help locate the owner of a family of four Yorkshire Terrier dogs that were left at a stables in Abercwmboi, Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Alongside the little dogs there was a handwritten note asking that they be taken care of and giving their names.
Jessie, Sweep, Sooty and Ben were all taken to the local authority pound where they will be kept for seven days before moving into our care.
Darcy is a cute little 6 month old Yorkie pup that has come into our care from our vets. Sadly she had been involved in a road traffic accident with significant injuries to both of her back legs. We were extremely concerned that her legs could not be saved and she would have to be euthanised. But we never give up on a dog without at least trying to help, so we referred her to a specialist orthopaedic vet at Alphavets. Her X-ray results and assessment show that her one leg can be mended with a plate and pins.
This month is another busy time for our fundraising. Please come along and support us as we raise much-needed funds for the Hope Rescue dogs.
If you are interested in helping out at any of the events, we would really love to see you. Please get in touch on firstname.lastname@example.org

The Trustees and Rescue Manager from Hope Rescue are taking a busman's holiday and are flying out to Sri Lanka on June 18th to volunteer for their friends at Dogstar Foundation.
There is little or no animal welfare protection in Sri Lanka with over a million stray dogs at risk from poisoning and relocation from tourist areas. Rabies is also endemic which has a significant impact on human health and well-being. Owned dogs do not fare much better and are often permanently chained or kennelled.
June is a very busy month for fundraising events and the hardworking Hope Rescue volunteers would be extremely grateful for any extra help. Whether that is holding a collecting tin, baking doggy deli, showcasing our foster dogs, all will help to raise much needed funds and awareness.
If you can help at any of these events, before or on the day, please contact us on email@example.com
Could you support a well- established local charity by becoming a Trustee? This is a fantastic opportunity to really make a difference to the welfare and lives of dogs in need in the South Wales area.

We are very fortunate to have some great support from local businesses who believe in what we do and help us in so many ways. Safestore is one of those companies and we have been very fortunate over the past five years to have a storage unit at their Cardiff Newport Road site at a very heavily discounted rate.
