Bolt is a stunning American Bulldog who has the dubious distinction of being Hope Rescue’s longest resident in boarding kennels. His luck has taken a positive turn with the announcement this week that Budget Vets have decided to sponsor Bolt’s kennel. This means that not only will he have the support of this well-known South Wales veterinary group, but it is hoped that the added publicity will help him realise his dream of getting a foster or forever home.
Still only 4 years old, Bolt has spent the last year in boarding kennels and is struggling to attract attention. He is an exuberant and lovable young lad who really needs to be the only dog and could live with teenagers and above due to the energy levels and size.
Kate Needham, Hope Rescue Trustee responsible for adoption and fostering said: “It is so generous of Budget Vets to sponsor a kennel for us. We decided to put that sponsorship to good use to support our longest resident.
“I’m really confident that the combined efforts of Budget Vets and us will be able to show people what a terrific dog Bolt really is. He deserves the best chance possible of finding a foster or forever home and it would be amazing if we could do that before Christmas.”
