Sonny didn’t have the greatest of starts in life. When he came into Hope’s care he was a very scared boy and nervous of humans. He has since made friends with all the staff at the kennels and is happy to go out on walks with all of them. Sonny is worried by new people and needs to be allowed to say hello in his own time, initially he is very nervous, but once you have gained his trust he is a friend for life and will demand a bum scratch or his ball throwing for him. Sonny is a very handsome, sweet and intelligent boy.
Sonny enjoys playing a game of fetch and likes to show off his sit, paw and lie down. He loves being outdoors, going for walks where he can jump in puddles, paddle in the streams, and then have a rub down and will even have a bath afterwards. Sonny walks well on a lead and is very responsive, he loves cheese, so he is eager to please and will take the cheese out of your hand very gently.
