Pippa is a 5 month old leggy Terrier x (with huge ears!). She is quite a sensitive little lady and will need some additional help from her new owners to build her confidence. When she is feeling a bit braver Pippa shows her cheeky side! She is playful and active and is going to want lots of fun things to do to keep her occupied. She loves running around off lead and chasing toys.
Pippa gets on well with other dogs but she needs some continued socialising as her play can be inappropriate at times and she can react on the lead. Ideally we would like her to go to a home where there is already a well adjusted dog as this helps Pippa's confidence. Her new owner must be willing to take her to a good, reward based training class. Pippa will suit a home with older children and she could possibly live with a dog savvy cat. She will be a fun and entertaining little companion for the right home.
Whenever dogs comes into our care they are assessed before they are adopted. This is because the majority of our dogs come from Local Authority pounds and with little or no previous history. This initial assessment period allows us to assess temperament, personality and the best match for a new home. We do not work on a first come first served basis but always strive to find the ideal home for each dog.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to adoption. A homecheck is required, and you will need to come along to the centre to meet the dog with your own dog(s) and family. Our adoption fee is £180.
