Nala is a 2 year old Staffie x who came into us a stray. It was reported to us that her previous owner was seen leaving her in an enclosed area of a park so she couldn't follow, which must have been an extremely distressing experience for her. It took Nala a few weeks to settle into the centre and build her confidence but once she did we saw what a fun and friendly girl she is!
Nala is active and can become bored easily when she isn't getting enough stimulation. She has mixed well with other dogs since being with us but is currently struggling to meet other dog due to her frustration in kennels. New adopters will be given support to help her social skills. As Nala can be excitable she would like to live with adults and teenagers and no cats please. She is a beautiful dog with a lot of give an owner who has had a dog before with a interest in positive reward based training.
Whenever dogs comes into our care they are assessed before they are adopted. This is because the majority of our dogs come from Local Authority pounds and with little or no previous history. This initial assessment period allows us to assess temperament, personality and the best match for a new home. We do not work on a first come first served basis but always strive to find the ideal home for each dog.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to adoption. A homecheck is required, and you will need to come along to the centre to meet the dog with your own dog(s) and family. Our adoption fee is £200.
