Marvin is a Border Terrier who we think is around 11 - 12 years old. He came into our care as a stray so we don't know much about his history. Marvin has recently had to have extensive dental work with 13 teeth being extracted but he has recovered well in his lovely foster home and is ready to find his permanent new home.
Marvin is a friendly and happy older gentleman who is a pleasure to be around! He is housetrained, travels well in the car and is ok to be left from short periods. Marvin can live with other dogs, cats and children. He would like an owner with some dog experience. He is on pain relief for his hind legs so new owners will need to be willing to continue this going forward.
Whenever dogs comes into our care they are assessed before they are adopted. This is because the majority of our dogs come from Local Authority pounds and with little or no previous history. This initial assessment period allows us to assess temperament, personality and the best match for a new home. We do not work on a first come first served basis but always strive to find the ideal home for each dog.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to adoption. A homecheck is required, and you will need to come along to the centre to meet the dog with your own dog(s) and family. Our adoption fee is £200.
