Jimmy is a 4 year old large Lurcher. He is a gorgeous, friendly and gentle boy who has a lot of fans among the staff here!
Jimmy has had quite a bit of training already such as housetraining and general obedience. He is affectionate and playful with people.
Jimmy gets on well with similar sized dogs and must live with another dog in the home, as he is much happier with company. He has also mixed with smaller dogs at the centre, although he can forget his size and be a little full on so will suit an owner who has experience of his type of breed.
Jimmy can live with older children but no cats please.
Jimmy enjoys being out and about and he will walk as far as you want him to and does love a regular burst off lead but is then happy to relax in the garden or house. Jimmy will suit a sighthound fan looking for a new companion.
Whenever dogs comes into our care they are assessed before they are adopted. This is because the majority of our dogs come from Local Authority pounds and with little or no previous history. This initial assessment period allows us to assess temperament, personality and the best match for a new home. We do not work on a first come first served basis but always strive to find the ideal home for each dog.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to adoption. A homecheck is required, and you will need to come along to the centre to meet the dog with your own dog(s) and family. Our adoption fee is £200.
