Georgie is a 5 year old Staffordshire Bull Terrier. On arrival with us Georgie was very stressed and mis-trusting - she didn't want to interact with people and would pull to desperately get back to her kennel. Now she has settled and trusts the staff she is a totally different girl! She is a great character. She is full of fun and when she is excited she will zoom around the field with a toy in her mouth! She is affectionate and enjoys being around people. Georgie is however very scared of restraint and she can become panicked and react negatively in pressurised situations such as the vet. We would need Georgie's new owners to continuing to work on a training plan to help her build confidence with this, with our full support.
Georgie enjoys the company of other dogs and is very playful! She would prefer a home without children but may be able to live with a dog savvy cat pending introductions. Georgie is a beautiful example of her breed and as long as new owners are willing to put the effort into her training around the vet and restraint she is going to make a wonderful companion. She is a firm favourite with the staff as she is a pleasure to be around and we would love to see her in a new home.
