Dugan is a 1 year old Doberman cross. He was quite poorly when he came to us but thanks to care from his foster Mum and Dad and excellent vet care from Nine Mile Vets in Finchampstead he is now happy, healthy and ready to find a new home!
Dugan is a big puppy and still quite excitable at times. However he is very keen to learn new things so very trainable! His foster carers have done a great job teaching him housetraining and recall. Dugan loves other dogs and could live with another dog in the home. He can get quite distressed when left on his own so would prefer an owner who wasn't out of the house for long hours. Dugan loves his walks so would like his adopters to be active and want to be out and about exploring with him. Although he is very friendly he doesn't quite understand his size so would be best living with older children and no cats please. Dugan is such a happy soul and a pleasure to be around, he will make a fun and rewarding companion in the right home.
Whenever dogs comes into our care they are assessed before they are adopted. This is because the majority of our dogs come from Local Authority pounds and with little or no previous history. This initial assessment period allows us to assess temperament, personality and the best match for a new home. We do not work on a first come first served basis but always strive to find the ideal home for each dog.
All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to adoption. A homecheck is required, and you will need to come along to the centre to meet the dog with your own dog(s) and family. Our adoption fee is £200.
