Doug is a 6 year old Pug who came into our care from the local pound. He is currently in foster in Llanbradach, South Wales.
Doug is currently in foster with other dogs of various sizes and temperaments and has settled in without issues. He could be rehomed with or without canine company in his new home.
Doug could be rehomed to a home with cats or small furries.
Doug is currently more than a little overweight and would need a new owner who was committed to ensuring he lost some of this weight before his health becomes affected. He is also epileptic but has been fit free since coming into the pound 3 weeks ago and starting medication. His medication will need reviewed over the next couple of months to ensure he is on the lowest effective dosage to keep his epilepsy under control. We will be covering the initial costs involved and also his neutering which is delayed on the advice of the vet at this point.
Doug has good basic manners and training although needs a little consistency for his house training. He will need someone who is home for most of the day and would be perfect for home workers as he is undemanding and quiet in the home (apart from his snoring!).
