Bear

3 Year Old Male German Shepherd x Malamute
Bear is a handsome GSD x Malamute. He has been through a lot of change recently and is looking for patient owners who can provide him with a secure home. Bear is a big softie and loves being tactile with the people he knows, playing with toys and long walks. He gets easily spooked by new people or busy situations so he would prefer a quiet home with owners who will read when he is overwhelmed.

Bear enjoys the company of others dogs and could live with a well adjusted dog in the home pending introductions at the rehoming centre. He again can be easily overwhelmed and fearful so he would prefer to be walked in quieter areas. He can live with adults and teenagers in the home. Bear is housetrained and travels well. He has become a firm favourite with the staff and has a huge amount to give to his new owners. Full support with be given by the staff at the centre to new adopters to help Bear settle in.

Whenever dogs comes into our care they are assessed before they are adopted. This is because the majority of our dogs come from Local Authority pounds and with little or no previous history. This initial assessment period allows us to assess temperament, personality and the best match for a new home. We do not work on a first come first served basis but always strive to find the ideal home for each dog.

All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to adoption. A homecheck is required, and you will need to come along to the centre to meet the dog with your own dog(s) and family. Our adoption fee is £200.
