All of our dogs are neutered (if over 6 months), vaccinated, flea treated, wormed and microchipped prior to adoption. If a puppy is not old enough to be neutered then this must be carried out at the owners expense when old enough, and the relevant form completed by the vet and returned to Hope Rescue. All puppies and bull breeds must attend training classes and a Training Form must be signed by the trainer and returned to Hope Rescue. We also provide 4 weeks free pet insurance via Petplan.
All Hope Dogs for rehoming are thoroughly assessed in a home environment by their foster carers before being available for rehoming. We have have a very thorough Rehoming Process to ensure that we match the right dog to the best possible home to meet both theirs and the family's needs.

Long Term Foster Needed![]() | Charlie is a 3 year old tri-colour collie and is neutered, fully vaccinated and micro-chipped. He is currently living in our kennels in South Wales and is desperately seeking a new long term foster home. Charlie originally arrived in our care at the beginning of October 2010 in terrible condition from a local Council pound (he was brought in to the pound in this condition). He was very underweight, had serious muscle wastage and such a filthy, matted coat it all had to be clipped off. Charlie was diagnosed with hip dysplasia in November 2010 following x-rays and manipulation. His condition is worse in his left hip. Since his diagnosis, his condition has been managed and he has only had to have minimal pain relief with Metacam. He has also attended hydrotherapy to build up the muscles around his hips. Charlie will be rehomed as a long term foster due to some of his behavioural traits as well as his medical needs. This means Hope Rescue will remain responsible for all the costs associated with Charlie's care. Any future veterinary costs, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments etc will all be covered and our team will always be available for support and advice. |
